dating.

so i’ve been asked out junior high style (meaning a friend of his asked me out for him) three times in my life.  once in high school by a boy who had never talked to me in his life.  his friend called me on the phone, while he sat there, i assume, waiting for an answer.  once in college by a boy who talked to me pretty regularly.  his friend also called me; on a pay phone at the beach.  why he told me that information i’ll never know.  once last night at the age of 32.  here’s a tip fellas:  if you’re going to ask a grown woman out on a date, nut up and ask her your fucking self.  ps.  no, i will not go out with you.
